BUILDING ALONG BUILDING
@VENICE BIENNALE
Marco Bruno and Simone Carena graduate studios will be part of Future School, a radical initiative curated by Shin Haewon and selected as a theme for the Korean Pavilion at the 17th Venice Architecture Biennale.
Students from VCUarts Qatar and IDAS-Hongik Seoul worked together to design a continuous building that runs from Seoul to Venice passing via Doha. It is a Building along Building exercise, developed using an exquisite corpse strategy, where each participant builds her/his proposal starting from a small hint received from the previous designer.
The result is a collective work, produced by 19 designers from 13 different countries, cutting through the landscape of Asia, North Africa and Europe. The project provides a cross section of the cultural diversity that unifies or divides the populations along the way and at the same time it celebrates the legacy of the radical work of Superstudio.

VCUarts Qatar와 IDAS-Hongik Seoul의 학생들은 함께 서울에서 도하를 거쳐 베니스까지 이어지는 연속 건물을 설계했습니다. 절묘한 시체 전략을 사용하여 개발된 건물 따라 만들기 연습으로, 각 참가자는 이전 디자이너로부터 받은 작은 힌트에서 시작하여 자신의 제안을 구성합니다.
그 결과 13개국의 19명의 디자이너가 아시아, 북아프리카, 유럽의 풍경을 가로질러 제작한 공동 작업이 탄생했습니다. 이 프로젝트는 길을 따라 인구를 통합하거나 나누는 문화적 다양성의 단면을 제공하는 동시에 Superstudio의 급진적인 작업의 유산을 기념합니다.
