The project aimed to radically transform an old military drivers’ facility using modified police shields. The walls of the building have been removed and the all interiors, [furniture, lights, walls and toilets] painted pink. The shields color have been modified [from blue to pink] and the writing have been altered, from 경찰 [police] to 뽕짝 [polka] and from “police” to “felice”[happy in Italian]. Finally, the 112 transformed pink police shields were applied onto the main facade and successfully turned a gloomy military building into a happy performing venue.

이 프로젝트의 목적은 국군 기무사령부로 사용되던 건물을 경찰관 방패에서 아이디어를 차용하여 새롭게 변형하는 것이다. 건물의 벽과 가구들, 조명, 화장실등은 제거되고 모두 핑크색으로 칠해졌다. 방패들은 기존의 파랑색에서 핑크색으로 바뀌고 쓰여진 글씨도 ‘경찰’ 에서 ‘뽕짝’으로 ‘police’에서 행복이란 뜻의 ‘felice’로 변하였다. 마침내 112개의 핑크색 방패들이 건물의 정면 파사드에 적용되면서 음울해 보이는 기무사령부 건물을 행복한 퍼포먼스 공연장으로 변화 시키는데 성공하였다.
