The Italian Institute of Culture in Seoul is now open. The goal of the renovation project was to facilitate the access of the public and provide a flexible space for activities and events. The new space revolves around two Paper Colosseums that will be used for meetings, language classes, performances, book presentations and movie screening. The monumental arenas are built with paper by Funnypaper, our trusted collaborator in many recent projects.

Thanks to the Italian Ambassador, Federico Failla and to the Director of the Italian Institute of Culture, Michela Linda Magrì for believing in us. Thanks to all the staff of the Italian Embassy and the Italian Institute of Culture in Seoul for the incredible support along the process.

서울에 있는 이탈리아 문화원이 이제 새롭게 문을 열었습니다. 리모델링 프로젝트의 목표는 대중의 접근을 용이하게 하고 활동과 행사를 위한 유연한 공간을 제공하는 것이었다. 새로운 공간은 회의, 언어 수업, 공연, 출판기념회 및 영화 상영에 사용될 두 개의 페이퍼(종이) 콜로세움을 중심으로 전개된다. 이 기념비적인 경기장은 최근 많은 프로젝트에서 함께한 우리가 신뢰하는 협력사, 퍼니페이퍼(Funnypaper)에 의해 골판지로 지어졌다.

우리를 믿어준 페데리코 파일라(Federico Failla) 이탈리아 대사님과 미켈라 린다 마그리(Michela Linda Magrì) 이탈리아 문화원장님께 감사를 전한다. 또한 프로젝트 진행 과정에서 엄청난 지원을 해준 이탈리아 대사관 및  주한이탈리아문화원의 모든 직원들에게 감사를 전한다.
