If the public doesn’t go to the art piece, the art piece will drive to the public. And it will park in unexpected places to meet its audience. On the top of a popular sand dune or across the stalls of a deserted parking lot. It will stay there for a limited amount of time. So the next time you visit, it will be gone. Questioning the traditional idea that art pieces are static objects that belong to specific locations. MOBUMENTS are out there to celebrate the nomadism of our contemporary society. Movable, colorful, deployable, adaptable and monumental art machines.

대중이 예술 작품을 보러 가지 않으면, 예술 작품은 대중에게 차를 몰고 옵니다. 그리고 예상치 못한 곳에 멈춰 서서 관객을 맞이합니다. 인기 있는 모래 언덕 꼭대기나 인적 없는 주차장의 가판대 건너편처럼요. 작품은 제한된 시간 동안 그곳에 머물게 됩니다. 그래서 당신이 다음에 방문했을 때, 작품은 이미 사라져 버린 것입니다. 예술 작품이 특정 장소에 고정된 고정된 사물이라는 전통적인 관념에 의문을 제기합니다. 모부먼트(MOBUMENT)는 현대 사회의 유목민적인 삶을 기념하기 위해 존재합니다. 움직일 수 있고, 다채롭고, 배치 가능하고, 적응력이 뛰어나며, 기념비적인 예술 기계입니다.
이 프로젝트는 카타르 박물관의 후원을 받아 도하 소방서(AIR8)에서 레지던시를 진행하는 동안 개발되었습니다.
